Here's what some of last year's attendees have to say about Choose Joy:

"My husband and I attended Choose Joy event last year just a few weeks after losing our 3rd baby in a row. We were able to be in a room full of people who understood what we were going through and heard stories of hope and encouragement from people who have had recurrent miscarriages. God used this event as one of the ways to help us heal.

It also opened my husband's heart to adoption.  We started looking into adoption and shortly after we found out we were pregnant again. But instead of fear, we chose joy. Our first child, a boy, is due this week!

We know we want to adopt as well in the future but have realized that God is in control and that we need to fully trust in him and lay our desires for our family at his feet."

"I was terrified on the drive to Chose Joy.  As soon as I stepped in the room, that all went away.  I hadn't spoken to anyone, yet I already felt like everyone there knew the pain and the ups and downs I had experienced.  We all had different stories, but I felt so known.  Everything about the day was exactly what I had been needing.  Best of all, I was able to make connections with some people who ended up coming along side me and encouraging me in the time since."

“I went to Choose Joy last year because I was interested in learning more about adoption. I left with practical information about different types of adoption, but more importantly, I was inspired by the amazing women who have a tremendous passion for caring for orphans. Choose Joy also gave me a new level of understanding toward women going through the emotional journey of infertility. I now think I can walk along side struggling friends with empathy and compassion I’ve never had before. Whether you a looking for real-world information about adoption or to be encouraged by stories, attending Choose Joy is a gift you will treasure even after the day is over.”
